Done done done!

I would lie if I said this was an easy task. It surely wasn't. It was very challenging but yet an amazing learning experience. I liked the fact that we had to use everything we have learnt in the past 2 years and somehow the two years felt worthwhile. I am almost ready to submit just have the last major touches to finishes, I cannot wait to be done!

This year has been amazing! Right from learning about boring financials to work experience to the deadly final major project. It has been a great year and now I'm happy that I am done!

Almost there

As I have finished all my research successfully, I am  now left with the last bit of my project. All I need to do is compile it and I am all set to hand it in. Alongside, I have also been editing my 30 second commercial which has been the toughest part on me as of now!

But on the brighter side, only 10 days to go and done with year 2. So excited!!

Relieved

This week has been very helpful for me and has gotten a lot of my doubts cleared. With Nicoles class on Tuesday and Edwins today I felt as if now that I know the structure, it gives me a direction to work. Also, totally loved that we got to see samples! Motivates us as students as well.

Pressure begins

With not so much time in my hands, I have reviewed the theories I will be using in my project and have started writing it already. As of now, my main agenda is to have over 60-70% of the business plan ready for my next tutorial on Tuesday so that I could spend more time improving my plan with time. This week has been hectic but I am coping.

Got it!

My tutorial this week was very helpful. I went prepared with three different ideas of what to do for my final major project. I am going to be launching a new product for a jewellery store that is based in Mumbai. Alongside I will also be looking at options of how I can retail them to department stores in Mumbai. There is a lot of research that needs to be done in terms of both primary and secondary, however in India consumers look at jewellery as an investment sales will definitely be profitable.

I am glad that I have finally decided on my topic and have already started conducting research! Feeling much better now that I know what direction I need to go in.

The beginning

Hey! Welcome to my blog. My name is Trisha Jani. I am born and raised in Dubai, U.A.E however I am of Indian nationality. During my work experience in term 2, I worked with a personalised styling based website where I developed my passion for jewellery, which then led to me thinking why not do my final major project on a jewellery brand. Ironically my mom is a well known jewellery designer in Mumbai and I will be doing my final major project on her company.

As of now, I am still unsure and very confused how I could expand the business. So for now, let me get back to thinking and start my research.
